Introduction to the GBUC student movement
The GBUC is an interdenominational missions-minded movement that mobilizes Christians to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in French campuses across Canada.
Christian students from each university and college are encouraged to live and share the Gospel together in their present mission field, their own campus. Their mandate, to promote fellowship with other students, is based on Jesus’ words: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” John 13:34-35 (NIV).
This initiative includes inductive Bible studies, prayer, worship, weekend camps, conferences and book tables. The GBUC movement puts on these activities with a joint effort from part-time staff and on-campus workers to offer services to students.
