Prière

The Sentinel, On February 1, 2009

Paul prays for the believers in Ephesus here; may we take hold of his prayer for ourselves as well.
 
"This is my prayer; That God, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ and the all-glorious Father, will give you spiritual wisdom and the insight to know more of Him: that you may receive that inner illumination of the spirit which will make you realise how great is the hope to which He is calling you, ….and how remendous is the power available to us who believe in God."

Eph. 1: 17. 18, 19.

Give Thanks:

1. for the faithfulness and perseverance of those who worked on the internet invitation and registration for the winter camp. I am truly impressed! May God call many campers to come and may he guide and protect all those who are working on all the different preparations for this.
2. for a good meeting last Friday which our administrator Marijane and our treasurer held with the organisation that does our accounting (the CQOC).
3. for the faithfulness and perseverance of our student leaders.

Please Pray:

1. for the involvement of the GBU of the Université de Montréal in the intercultural week at the UdeM, from February 9 to 13. The group will set up the exposition on Martin Luther King, hold an information table during the lunch breaks and end the week with a conference on MLK (Friday the 13th).
   Pray that this project be an encouragement for each student to be even more a witness for Christ on the campus and with their friends.
   If you would like to pray daily during this week from the 9th to the 13th and receive news and regular requests, you may answer this email with a YES, I would like to receive the MLK requests.
2. for Caroline D. and two of her friends who would like to start a GBC at Cégep Maisonneuve.
3. for the meeting of the Plateforme for the French GBU which will take place in Switzerland in May, that the African delegates will get their visas and be able to go. The campus work with the francophones is quite fragile and they focus on improving the sharing of resources to better help each other.
4. for Ryan J. who is taking two courses in French this semester, that God give him the wisdom to follow and to understand well some professors whom even the native French-speaking students have difficulty in following.
5. for students who are facing life challenges : lodging, relationships, finding a future in their field of study, priorities in managing their time. May they all stay close to God and let him guide them.
6. or David Brown whose doctor is looking for a new protocole to fight the cancer which has come back. May God heal our brother and protect his family in his great love.
